The blog Layout option provides the ability to show news articles with a summary and link to the full article

You can specify a future publish date, which allows news items to be prepared ahead of time, appearing only when the specified date is reached.

Articles are shown chronologically with the ability to backdate articles if required. A News Summary with a maximum length of 50 words is allowed. With the full article available via the link.

The CMS editor used for the other page layouts is available for formatting your news articles

Such as PDF, MS Word Documents or other websites. This can also be achieved within the editor itself

You have the ability to insert movies that are hosted on video sharing websites such as YouTube into your news articles. See an example here

Specifying an Archive date will remove the article from news feeds
